Step 3: The Ambulance Certificate...

Below is the ambulance certificate, which is accessed through the ADD INFO button on the Charge Entry screen. The ambulance certificate is completed for each run, and can be automated for dialysis runs that require the same information run after run. It is also possible to create hot-keys for the origin and destination fields that greatly speed up the entry of information in this window.

Once you have completed both the Charge Entry and Additional information windows, the run is saved and will either file electronically or print to a paper claim. The Ambulance Manager generates ANSI 5010 A1 compliant electronic claims that include all of the ambulance specific data. This increases collections by eliminating many of the requests for additional information.
